  • Overview

    This position is responsible for reconciling and recording revenue accurately and timely into the company’s financial systems including the general ledger. He/she will need to understand the flow of revenue for all lines of business. In addition, he/she will interact frequently with key stakeholders to reconcile member level information between departments, EOHHS to reconcile rates and other external entities as needed.   


    • Responsible for verifying the accuracy of revenue from external sources into the company. This includes but may not be limited to the State of RI, HSRI (Rhode Island Exchange) and CMS.
    • Record revenue into the general ledger in an accurate and timely manner
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
    • Responsible for working with Enrollment on all activities related to the reconciliation of member level data that impacts revenue recognition
    • Responsible for working with Medical Management on all activities related to the reconciliation of member level data that impacts revenue recognition
    • Prepare the monthly revenue reporting package
    • Update policies and procedures as assigned
    • Revenue lead for all audits
    • Participate in team projects
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 5 or more years of financial analysis experience
    • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written
    • Strong computer skills including Excel and general ledger software


    • GAAP accounting experience including knowledge of financial statement preparation
    • Health care and/or insurance industry experience
    • Medicare/Medicaid experience
