  • Overview

    This position’s responsibility is to design, develop, implement and maintain business driven data analytical solutions, on time and within budget.  He/she will work closely with the systems analysts and business intelligence specialists to enhance and maintain the Reporting Environment, Enterprise Data Warehouse and any other reporting data sources within the organization. 


    • Design and develop new functionality for existing and new data analytics to support the company’s reporting strategy
    • Troubleshoot and correct issues with existing reports in the data warehouse environment
    • Identify new technologies or technological improvements to include in the application to improve usability, stability and maintainability
    • Provide technical consultation to the business community customers/partners
    • Identify opportunities for improvement within the business intelligence team (i.e., improving documentation, software quality improvement, etc.) and outline and implement solutions
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Corporate Compliance Responsibility - As an essential function, responsible for complying with Neighborhood’s Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, policies and procedures as it applies to individual job duties, the department, and  the Company. This position must exercise due diligence to prevent, detect and report unlawful and/or unethical conduct by fellow co-workers, professional affiliates and/or agents



    • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience using the Cognos suite of tools (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Transformer, Powerplay, etc.)
    • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience with multidimensional modeling and development
    • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience designing and developing data analysis/reporting solutions
    • One (1)+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL ServerExperience in the design of relational database structures
    • Experience using a System Development Life Cycle
    • Strong systems analysis, problem solving and design skills
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate after hours and/or weekends when needed


    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or sufficient experience and/or background to equate to the degree; Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field
    • Experience with Project Management Techniques
    • Experience in Health Care Industry
    • XML Knowledge
